This week we are thrilled to introduce you to the sweet, and incredibly cute, Wilson! His playful and fun loving personality is absolutely contagious amongst all that meet him! Our Zen team member, Brandi loves taking care of Wilson when his mom and dad are away, they always have a fabulous time. It's quite clear just how much his family loves him and how much he adores them! The floor is yours Wilson!
State your full name and let us know a bit about your background.
"Wilson. Wilson “Little Man” Alton. My parents rescued me when I was 7 weeks old. But before I was rescued I remember spending time with 3 other dogs that looked like me. I remember how we always slept on top of each other because we didn’t have enough room in the box we were left in. And then one day someone found us and that’s how I ended up with my parents. I am a mix breed and my trainer Brittany calls me a designer mutt. Not sure what that means exactly but I’m pretty sure it’s a compliment."
What’s your favorite toy and why?
"My favorite toy is the green frog my mom gets me from Muttropolis. It is my favorite because the frog is big and has 6 squeekey’s inside of it for me to get out. I love when I play keep away from my mom and dad while I have the frog in my mouth too. I pretty much love all squeaky toys."
What does your typical day consist of?
"My typical day consists of a lot of sleeping and sunbathing outside in our backyard on the furniture. I love feeling the sun on my coat. After breakfast I enjoy going on walks, playing with other dogs at Kate Sessions Park but my favorite typical day consists of when we go to Windansea Beach or Fiesta Island. I love the beach and the how the sand feels under my paws. I absolutely love running on the beach but I don’t like to go swimming in the water like other dogs do. At the end of the day after I have had my dinner a couple delicious treats I enjoy waiting for my mom or dad to spill food from the dinner table for me to eat."
Who is your best friend and how did you meet?
I have two best friends. My girl best friend is Winnie. She looks exactly like me except she is only 10 lbs. She’s my Minnie Me! My other best friend is Digby. I met Digby through Brandi who is my dog sitter. I am pretty sure that Digby lives with Brandi because even though I see other dogs when I am with her, Digby is the only one that spends the night with me. We have the best time together."
What is the one question you wish your human would stop asking you, and the one question you wish your human would never stop asking you?
"Stop asking me to stop begging. I can’t help but beg and the food always smells so delicious when my mom and dad are cooking at home. It’s torture. Please never stop asking me if I want a treat!!! If you ask me, I could use a few more pounds…haha. I will always want treats, so please never stop asking!"

"I would win for loyalty and handsomeness. I will never leave my mom and dad’s side. I will always love and protect them. I will always snuggle with them and be there for them. When you walk out the door I will be waiting patiently for you to come back. I am always excited to see you no matter what. It is my job to make them feel better and to make them smile. My mom and dad are my best friends."

"Cats freak me out."
