Dog walking is not just a walk in the park (no pun intended!). Here at DogZenergy, we are not just walking dogs, we are walking family members who have sensitive souls, routines, likes, dislikes, individual personalities and different styles of communication. We understand that you are busy and our aim is to make sure that your dog will always be well-taken care of no matter how crazy life may get. We will do everything we can to get your dog's energy out so that you will come home to a calm, tired, happy, Zen dog.

DogZenergy is owned and operated by a mother-daughter team, Karen and Brittany Alwerud, who have dedicated the last 15 years to taking care of San Diego’s most loved dogs. Founded by Brittany in 2005 while she was a student at UCSD, she has made it her mission to raise the standard of professionalism in the pet care industry. With a combination of attention to detail, lots of love, the use of modern technology and continuous pet care education, DogZenergy, strives to give pets and their parents the very best care from puppyhood till their golden years.

DogZenergy is a dedicated member of Pet Sitters International, National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and Pet Sitters Associates. We regularly attend conferences provided by these professional organizations to ensure that we are always improving our service. We are licensed through San Diego City and insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates and the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
