This week are so excited to introduce everyone to fantastic and friendly Falstaff! Falstaff has been with us since he was an adorable little puppy, and we've had the privlege to watch him as he grows! Falstaff has been featured in Merry Christmas from DogZenergy, Zen Dogs> El Nino, and he's also been posted on our social media! Every day is a new adventure on Falstaff's walks and he makes a new friend wherever he goes! With those gorgeous two different color eyes, big floppy ears, and adorable smile how can you not love this guy! Take it away Falstaff!

State your full name and let us know a bit about your background.

"My name is Sir John Falstaff, and just Falstaff for short.  I got my name because what better likeness for a Basset Hound than the outlandish Sir John Falstaff?"

What’s your favorite toy and why?

"Socks.  I love to chew on socks.  Don’t ever try to take one out of my mouth!"

What does your typical day consist of, and what would your ideal day include?

"I get to the beach a couple of times a day for walks.  My ideal day involves running along the beach with a stick on my mouth, lunch at the Catamaran, and a good rub under my neck and belly."

Who is your best friend and how did you meet?

"My six-year old human brother is my best friend.  It was love at first sight."

What is the one question you wish your human would stop asking you, and the one question you wish your human would never stop asking you?

"a. Did you chew the baseboards?  This is a rhetorical question, of course.  b. How do you like your steak?"

If you were going to win an award at the "Oscar Pet Awards" would you want to win it for  1.) Cuteness 2.) Heroism/Courage 3.) Sassiness 4) Loyalty 5) Fashionista.  Give us a quick example/story of why we should pick you!

"Isn’t it obvious?  My cuteness comes third only to my (1) stubbornness, and (2) ability to feign innocence.  I am extra cute because I have one blue eye and one brown eye."

Any other insight you would like us to know?

"My mom and dad are famous Bassets.  I am with my family now because my eyes make me too unique to show.  Lucky me!"

Thank you to fabulous Falstaff and his wonderful owner Stacy for participating in this week's Zen Dog Spotlight!
